Kayak & SUP Terms & Conditions

All equipment hire is subject to availability.

You, the individual, are responsible for your own and for the rest of your groups safety.

You or at least one member of your group must have paddle experience relevant to kayak and/or SUP and be present when your group members are paddling.

All people using the kayaks or SUPs must be able to swim.

Any children under the age of 18 will not be allowed to paddle unsupervised.

Buoyancy aids must be worn at all times on the water.

Leashes must be worn on Sup’s and paddles.

No alcohol should be consumed prior or during your trip on the water.       

Anyone hiring and using our equipment does so at their own risk and must realise their own ability and experience.

You must complete a travel plan and leave this with someone on land before all trips.

All equipment must be returned or collected at the agreed time and in the condition that it was hired.

Any loss or damage to any of our equipment will be deducted from the card used to pay for the hire, in full, at the end of the hire period.

If you have to abandon the board or kayak on the marsh pull the board out of the water making sure it is high on the bank and contact us straight away so that we can recover the board or kayak. You will be charged £50 per hour for the recovery. If recovery is not possible you will be charged for the cost in full.

Once the equipment has been collected and inspected and found to be free of damage your card details will be destroyed.

Delivery and collection is free within a 10 mile radius of Wells-next-the-Sea

If the equipment is not available to collect at the agreed time a £30 return fee will be charged.

Norfolk Coastal Paddle Hire Company holds the right to refuse hire.
