Boat Charter in North Norfolk

Norfolk Oyster Charter

From £37.5 / person

The Norfolk Oyster is a 17ft open day sailing boat perfect for a trip out to see the seals or for a jaunt around the harbour. She has high topsides and her simulated clinker means she’s a relatively dry boat for her size. She can comfortably seat four.

Norfolk Gypsy Charter

From £60 / person

The Norfolk Gypsy is a 20ft sailing yacht with exactly half the boat split over cabin and cockpit space. The spacious cockpit is simply laid out with all sheets and halyards leading to the aft of the boat meaning that she can be sailed single-handed so if you want to sit back and relax and let our skipper do all the work, you can. The cabin has a simple layout with a two burner stove and small heads

We have two of our beautiful classic sailing boats, that are made here in North Norfolk, available for private charter.

Both boats are pretty with clean lines and a timeless appeal. Their heavy construction mean they sit in the water rather than on the water, so are not tippy like other boats. Even if you’re not a sailor you will enjoy the experience of the sail and the beauty of Blakeney Harbour.

Each charter is tailored to you and your parties requirements.

Tailored to suit you

A landing on Blakeney Point nature reserve can be arranged.

You can be sailed to see the seals of Blakeney Point.

We can sail you to Blakeney Quay for a quick bite to eat or drink before heading back to Morston.

You can try your hand on the helm or just sit back and enjoy seeing the world sail by.

If it is not windy enough for sailing then the boats can be motored so the charter can still go ahead, it might be an idea to bring a picnic on becalmed days.

Staying safe & warm

Life Jackets will be provided.

The skipper will meet you on the quay at Morston and provide a water taxi service to and from the boat where needed.

Suitable footwear must be worn (soft rubber soled shoes or boots) and appropriate clothing for the weather.

Even when it is scorching inland it can be breezy and cool on the water so a sweater is always advisable.

Food and drink is allowed on the boats although we ask that you dispose of your rubbish responsibly on returning to the Quay at Morston and we ask that no glass is brought onto the boats. Alcohol can be consumed but in moderation.

All charters are dependant on the weather and, because we want you to have an enjoyable time on the water, if we feel that the conditions are not safe we will cancel the booking and rearrange. Where rearranging is not possible you will be given a full refund.

You can cancel your booking and if the notice is 30 days or more you will be entitled to a full refund. Where the notice is less than 30 days you will receive a refund of 50%.
